Bollywood’s Dabangg Salman Khan announces his upcoming film ‘The-Bull,’ produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The team began shooting in Mumbai on December 29. According to sources close to the film, Salman Khan will portray the role of Brigadier Farooq Balsara, who led Operation Cactus in the Maldives in 1988.
The shooting for the film is set to commence in February. Salman Khan, rigorously preparing for the role, undergoes 3.5 hours of daily training and has made substantial changes to his diet. Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, the film ‘The-Bull’ will present the story of Operation Cactus, scheduled for release on November 3. In 1988, Indian armed forces aided the Maldives during a crisis.
