Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has clearly shared his thoughts on why he does not want to show his daughter Lara’s face on social media for now. The actor recently interacted with fans during a Q&A session on his X (formerly Twitter) account, where a user asked him when he would reveal his daughter’s face.
Replying to the question, Varun said that this decision should belong to his daughter alone. He explained that being on social media should be a personal choice, not something decided by parents.

Varun chooses privacy for his daughter
He wrote that he would like to leave this decision to Lara when she grows up. He added that social media should be her own choice, and he does not want to make that call on her behalf.
Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their daughter Lara in June 2024. While he often shares sweet moments from his life as a father, he always covers Lara’s face with emojis in the pictures to protect her privacy.
Varun Dhawan’s upcoming films
On the work front, he will soon be seen in the much-awaited film ‘Border 2’, the sequel to the iconic 1997 war drama Border. The film is directed by Anurag Singh and is scheduled to release in theatres on January 23.
The movie features a strong star cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, and Ahan Shetty in key roles. Apart from this, Varun was last seen in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, which released in October and starred Sanya Malhotra alongside him.
