Veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra and his son Tusshar Kapoor have sold a major commercial property in Mumbai. It was a unit of Japan’s NTT Group for ₹559 crore.
Details of the deal
According to property registration documents shared by real estate consultancy Square Yards. NTT acquired over 30,195 square metres of land located at Balaji IT Park in the Chandivali area of Mumbai.
The property is sold by Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited, a company that has joint owners Jeetendra and Tusshar Kapoor.
What does the property include?
The deal includes the purchase of a 10-storey building named ‘DC-10’. This house is a data centre, along with an adjacent four-storey diesel generator facility. Both structures are located on the ground level within the IT park.
Stamp duty and other charges
As per a government proposal announced in 2024, no stamp duty was required for this transaction. However, a metro cess of ₹5.59 lakh has already been paid.
Another big deal earlier
They revealed that a separate property transaction worth ₹855 crore involving the same group was registered in May 2025. This highlights the family’s continued presence in large-scale real estate investments.
Strong interest in data centre assets
This deal once again shows the growing interest of global companies like NTT. In India’s data centre and commercial infrastructure space, especially in Mumbai, which remains a prime location for such investments.
