Description: The story revolves around Punjabis who, due to circumstances, are forced to go abroad. Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ narrates the tale of Punjabis facing challenges while living in a village in Punjab. They decide to go to London, believing their poverty will persist if they stay in their hometown. One of them plans to go there to meet the love of his life. However, he struggles with English, and despite his weak English he sits for the IELTS exam and fails. The friends advise an illegal plan involving a dunki to reach London. You must watch the film in your nearby cinema to witness the entire story. From start to finish, the film is outstanding, ensuring you won’t be bored. Shahrukh Khan shines throughout, making it one of his best films. The supporting cast also gets equal opportunities, contributing to the film’s excellence.
Acting: Shahrukh Khan delivers an exceptional performance, making ‘Dunki’ one of his best films. Every character in the film resonates with the audience. Taapsee Pannu also impresses with her acting, creating a good chemistry with Shahrukh Khan. Vicky Kaushal proves that he can leave a significant impact even with a small role. Vikram Kochhar’s performance is outstanding, and the chemistry between Boman Irani and Hirani is noticeable.
Direction and Music: Rajkumar Hirani, along with Shahrukh Khan, has done an excellent job while making ‘Dunki’ a spectacular film.
