Hollywood star Bradley Cooper has finally addressed long-standing rumours about his alleged plastic surgery, setting the record straight during a recent podcast appearance.
The actor attended an episode of the popular SmartLess podcast, hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, as reported by People magazine.
During the conversation, Will Arnett recalled being asked to share something about Bradley that people might not know. “I said, ‘Well, there’s a lot,’” Arnett shared, before adding that many people believe Bradley has had plastic surgery. “What people don’t know is that he hasn’t,” Arnett clarified.
Jason Bateman echoed the sentiment, saying, “That he hasn’t.” Arnett further emphasised, “Yeah. Of course, he hasn’t.”
Reacting to the discussion, Bradley Cooper admitted that he has recently been approached by people commenting on his appearance. “I get people coming up to me the last couple of weeks. They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good!’ Yeah, but it’s crazy,” he said.
Arnett expressed frustration over the persistent speculation, noting that such rumours are often fuelled by baseless online chatter. “It made me mad because people say that all the time. Everybody thinks they know,” he remarked.
According to People, although Bradley Cooper has been the subject of plastic surgery rumours for years, this marked one of the first times he publicly addressed them.
The actor has been making several public appearances recently while promoting “Is This Thing On?”, his latest directorial venture starring Will Arnett and Laura Dern as a couple on the verge of divorce.
As per the film’s synopsis, “As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce while seeking new purpose in New York’s comedy scene, while Tess (Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family—forcing both to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.”
Bradley was also recently spotted with his girlfriend, supermodel Gigi Hadid. The couple, who have been romantically linked since October 2023, were seen attending a matinee show of Broadway’s “Waiting for Godot” on December 20, posing for a rare couple photograph.
