South Indian superstar Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups is creating massive buzz among fans. With every new update, the excitement around the film continues to grow. Recently, the makers unveiled the first look of actress Rukmini Vasant, and it has quickly gone viral on social media.
Rukmini Vasant as ‘Melissa’
Rukmini Vasant will be seen playing the character Melissa in the film. Her look is bold, elegant, and powerful, clearly hinting at a strong and serious role. There is a calm intensity in her appearance, suggesting that her character will play an important part in the film’s intense drama.
Earlier, the makers had already revealed the striking looks of Kiara Advani (Nadia), Huma Qureshi (Elizabeth), Nayanthara (Ganga), Tara Sutaria (Rebecca), and Rukmini’s reveal has added even more curiosity to the story.

Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film promises high-octane action sequences, designed at an international level.
The action is being choreographed by Hollywood action director J.J. Perry, known for his work in the John Wick franchise, along with National Award-winning action directors Ambrive and Kecha Khamphakar. This combination has raised expectations for some truly thrilling action scenes.
Global Release in Multiple Languages
The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will be dubbed in several languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi, while the powerful music is composed by Ravi Basrur.
Fans will need to wait a little longer, as Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups is set for a global theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
